Terms

These terms apply to every auction on Bidlo. Placing a bid means accepting them.

How winning works

Each auction is won by the lowest amount that exactly one person submitted. The very lowest amount does not win if two or more people chose it — only the lowest amount nobody else matched.

The service fee

Each bid costs a service fee, shown on the auction before you pay. The fee is what you pay to take part, and it is not refundable — not if you lose, not if you change your mind, and not if someone else submits the same amount as you.

Which bids count

Only a bid whose service fee has been paid is counted. If a payment does not complete, that bid does not exist and the amount is free for anyone else to use.

If no amount is unique

If every amount submitted was matched by someone else, the auction is won by whoever submitted the lowest amount first. Service fees are not refunded in this case.

Bid amounts are private

Nobody can see what anyone else has bid, before or after an auction closes. Only the winning amount is published, and only once the auction has closed.

If you win

The winner pays their winning bid in addition to the service fee already paid, and is contacted on the number the account was registered with. The bid amount is never charged at the time of bidding.

Limits and eligibility

Each auction sets its own amount range and a maximum number of bids per person. Bidlo may decline or block an account that abuses the service, in which case bids already paid for still stand and still count.

Changes

These terms may change. The version shown here is the one that applies to an auction you bid on today.
